Phone Consultation
No charge
This is a free appointment, completed entirely over the phone. This appointment should last about 20 minutes or more and is used to determine if you are experiencing any symptoms which could indicate a potential orofacial myofunctional disorder. This will allow us to see if orofacial myofunctional therapy may be right for you.
Comprehensive Evaluation
This appointment is completed in person, after the phone consultation. A complete history of symptoms and background information is collected, as well as intra oral measurements. We will look over any muscle compensations which may be present. After this appointment is completed, I will complete a proposed treatment plan, which I will then present at a separate follow up appointment.
Therapy Package
Once a treatment plan is created and agreed upon, therapy sessions will begin. Sessions will usually be scheduled once every two weeks. The treatment plan may also include referrals to additional health care providers, as well as the use of oral appliances. These therapy packages are estimated to be a length of 12 sessions, but may go longer depending on several factors including, but not limited to patient compliance.
Mini Myo Sessions
These sessions are designed for young children, who may not have the attention span for a typical therapy session.
